The core climate issue in Southeast Asia
In Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia, the climate is hot and humid throughout the year, with a long rainy season and a high incidence of termite infestations. Ordinary panel furniture transported there is likely to expand and deform within one year, the cabinet body will get moldy, and the wooden blocks will be eaten away by termites.

Sheet material classification and selection plan
1. Coastal Resort Hotel (Island Resort): All rooms are equipped with multi-layer solid wood boards over 18mm in thickness, with a waterproof grade of E0 and resistance to water-based glue bonding; Particle boards and ordinary particle boards are strictly prohibited for use in floor cabinets;
2. Chain hotels in inland cities: Upgrade to PET double-coated moisture-proof particle boards, with six-sided fully automatic edge sealing, preventing water vapor from penetrating the core of the board.

Waterproof structure rigid process
1. The bottom of all the base cabinets will be uniformly raised by 15mm to prevent moisture. The cabinets will have floating feet that do not touch the ground tiles and avoid water accumulation; a 5mm expansion gap will be reserved on the back panel of the cabinets.
2. The back of the cabinets will be fully covered with aluminum foil moisture-proof film. At the wall position, no glue will be used for fixed installation.
3. All the metal hardware will be standard 304 stainless steel. In the coastal salt spray environment, rust and jamming will be completely avoided.

Insect prevention treatment standards
1. The solid wood square materials are first subjected to high-temperature fumigation for pest control, and then soaked in insect repellent agents. The internal areas are ensured to have no residual insect eggs.
2. Ventilation and insect-proof holes are reserved inside the cabinet. Before leaving the factory, long-lasting insect-proof bags are placed inside.
3. Before loading into the container, the entire cabinet is sprayed with insect repellent spray. During the maritime transportation, there will be no insect breeding.

Localization adaptation details
The bed types in budget hotels in Southeast Asia are mostly double beds combined together, with the bed frames featuring a combined locking mechanism. The furniture in homestays tends to have a rustic wood style and a mix of rattan and woven materials. Orders for the combination of rattan and wood products are quite large.

Customs Clearance Key Points
Indonesia and Malaysia conduct mandatory random inspections on the formaldehyde content of imported panels, and must provide an E0 environmental testing report; for solid wood integrated cabinets, a plant quarantine certificate is required.
