Application Scope: Star hotel suites, business hotels, boutique hotel engineering procurement, including bathroom vanity mirrors, LED smart mirrors, bedroom full-length mirrors, decorative art mirrors. Compatible with domestic engineering and foreign trade export, directly applicable as technical specifications and inquiry list.

2.1 Glass and Mirror Substrate

1. Thickness: Bathroom mirror ≥ 5mm tempered glass; large-size mirrors over 1200mm ≥ 6mm; full-length mirror ≥ 5mm. Thin glass of 3-4mm is forbidden to avoid image distortion caused by mirror bending.

2. Mirror Coating: Copper-Free Silver Mirror, resistant to corrosion by bathroom moisture and cleaning agents; CASS salt spray test ≥ 120h, ≥300-480h for high-end projects to completely avoid edge blackening and coating peeling.

3. High-end Upgrade: Ultra-low iron glass to eliminate green background color and achieve ultra-clear imaging, suitable for five-star hotel projects.

4. Safety Explosion-proof: CAT-II explosion-proof safety film on the mirror back. Glass fragments will be adhered and not fall off after breakage, which is a mandatory hotel engineering standard to reduce guest injury risks.

5. Edge Technology: CNC precision grinding edge, R3-R8 rounded corners without burrs and chipping; edge sealing protective paint is mandatory for humid environments to prevent moisture from eroding the coating from the side edges.

2.2 Frame and Backboard Structure

1. Frameless Mirror: Pure polished edge design, no frame, mainstream style for modern minimalist suites.

2. Metal Frame: Priority to anodized aluminum alloy / 304 stainless steel; ordinary painted iron frames are prohibited due to easy rusting and peeling in humid environments. Surface treatments include powder coating, wire drawing, black titanium, champagne gold, etc. Ordinary paint spraying is not acceptable.

3. Solid Wood/Wood Veneer Frame: Suitable for Chinese-style and light luxury suites; must be treated with moisture-proof closed paint. Only used in dry bedroom areas, not recommended for bathrooms.

4. Backboard: LED smart mirror adopts fully enclosed aluminum alloy back box + silicone sealing strip to reach IP44 waterproof grade, isolate bathroom steam and prevent drive short circuit. Ordinary mirrors adopt waterproof multi-layer board / aluminum honeycomb board; ordinary MDF is forbidden due to moisture expansion and deformation.

2.3 Electrical Parameters of LED Smart Mirror (Key for Export Projects)

1. Color Rendering Index (CRI): ≥90, mandatory for hotel dressing to restore real skin color. LED strips with CRI＜80 are forbidden, which cause yellow and gray skin tone in reflection and poor guest experience.

2. Color Temperature: Conventional 3000K warm white / 4000K neutral white; high-end configuration supports 3000-4000-6000K three-color dimming.

3. Protection Grade: Minimum IP44 for bathroom humid areas; IP65 for areas directly above showers.

4. Power Supply: Constant voltage isolated drive; SELV safety low voltage for European export; UL/cUL certification for North America; CCC certification for domestic projects. Hardwired connection is preferred, USB power supply is not recommended.

5. Switch Function: Touch control switch; optional one-key anti-fog and light sensor. Anti-fog heating film: PET electric heating film covering 60-80% of the mirror surface, linked with light or equipped with automatic timing off function, power 50-100W, surface temperature 35-40℃ with overheating protection.

6. Certification List: Domestic: 3C tempered glass certification; EU: CE, UKCA, EN1036-2; North America: UL962/cULus. Complete test reports are required, verbal commitments are not accepted.

2.4 Installation System (High-frequency Pitfalls in Hotel Engineering)

1. Ordinary D-rings and hanging ropes are prohibited. Hotel engineering standard: Z-bar hanger / French Cleat with anti-pry and anti-fall locking function to prevent mirror displacement and falling, with far higher safety than ordinary hooks.

2. Wall Adaptation: Expansion bolts for solid walls; pre-embedded reinforced wood boards are mandatory for light-weight partition walls / gypsum board walls to avoid mirror falling off.

3. LED Mirror Installation: Standard waterproof junction box reserved on the wall, wiring space reserved on the backboard to prevent cable extrusion damage.

4. Large-size Full-length Mirror: Multi-point hanging code fixation is mandatory, single-point hanging is prohibited.

3.1 Bathroom Vanity Mirror

- Mid-end: 700×900mm / 800×1000mm

- High-end large sink: 900×1200mm

Height standard: The bottom edge of the mirror is 100-150mm above the sink countertop.

3.2 Telescopic Makeup Magnifying Mirror

Diameter 180-200mm, 3-5 times magnification, 360° rotatable and telescopic.

3.3 Bedroom Full-length Mirror

1200×1800mm / 1000×2000mm

1. ❌ Ordinary copper-containing silver mirror: Edge blackening and silver peeling occur within 3-12 months in bathrooms, the biggest rework pain point for hotels. Copper-free silver mirror must be specified in the contract.

2. ❌ Missing explosion-proof safety film: Glass fragments splash after breakage, leading to hotel safety liability risks.

3. ❌ LED strip with CRI＜80: Distorted yellow and gray skin tone in reflection, seriously affecting guest experience.

4. ❌ Ordinary MDF backboard: Moisture absorption causes expansion, bulging and mirror deformation.

5. ❌ Simple hooks instead of Z-bar hangers: Hidden danger of mirror falling off.

6. ❌Insufficient anti-fog film coverage: Only partial anti-fog effect, residual fog on most mirror areas.

1. Inquiry Document Specification: Clearly specify glass thickness, copper-free silver mirror, explosion-proof safety film, edge grinding and sealing for ordinary mirrors; for LED mirrors, clearly mark CRI, IP grade, certification, anti-fog film coverage, switch type, backboard material and hanger system.

2. Sample Confirmation: Physical sample confirmation and sealed sample signature before mass production. Focus on checking imaging distortion, mirror edge sealing and LED light color consistency.

3. Sampling Inspection Items

- Mirror surface: No bubbles, scratches or imaging distortion; no edge paint peeling.

- LED system: Uniform brightness without stroboscopic; normal anti-fog function.

- Complete certificates: Salt spray test report, tempered glass 3C certificate, electrical certification documents.

4. Packaging Standard: Export & engineering grade packaging: foam corner protection + honeycomb carton + wooden frame, mirror surface with protective film to prevent transportation scratches; marked with fragile labels.

5. Warranty Standard: 2-3 years warranty for ordinary mirrors; 2-5 years warranty for LED smart mirror strips and drivers. Clearly define the warranty scope of non-human-induced moisture corrosion.

3. North American Market: Complete UL/cULus certification (single strip certification is not acceptable), Class 2 power supply, NEC wet location standard compliance.
